How to Groom a Pomeranian at Home

“Ah, the Pomeranian—a pocket-sized fluffball bursting with personality. Beneath that glorious cloud lies a tiny lion, proud and regal. But beware—tangles lurk behind every ear and leg! With love and a good brush, your Pom will float through the world like the little star they are.” — Lola

At-Home Grooming Routine

  • Brushing: Daily with a comb brush and slicker brush to prevent matting and remove loose undercoat.
  • Bathing: Every 4–6 weeks with a gentle dog shampoo. Always dry thoroughly to avoid matting in the coat.
  • Ear and Eye Care: Check for dirt and build-up weekly.
  • Paw and Nail Care: Trim nails every 2-3 weeks and check paws for debris or overgrowth.
  • Teeth: Brush with dog-safe toothpaste 3 times/week minimum.

When to call Lola’s Pet Salon

  • For a full bath, blow-dry, and trim every 6–8 weeks.
