Lola’s Pet Salon is part of The World of Lola Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom under company number 16033356. We are committed to providing the finest grooming services while ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of every pet entrusted to our care. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of our services to ensure a smooth and transparent experience for both you and your pup.
1. Grooming Services & Health Conditions
- Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances:
- The pet is fit and healthy. Grooming for elderly or infirm pets will be at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health or skin conditions for which The World of Lola Ltd. cannot be held liable.
- The pet’s rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
- In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize The World of Lola Ltd. to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize treatment at your expense.
- Payment is due at the time of service via credit card or through our website. Rates are based on breed and groom duration. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are included unless too stressful for the pet or unsafe for the groomer.
- We do not offer anal gland expression, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian.
- De-matting or complete coat removal may dramatically alter your pet’s appearance and could expose pre-existing health or skin conditions for which we cannot be held liable.
2. Aggressive or Anxious Dogs
- If a pet becomes aggressive or overly anxious during grooming, we reserve the right to stop the service for the safety of both the pet and the groomer.
- If grooming cannot be completed due to behaviour issues, a full or partial fee may still apply.
- We do not use sedation. If your pet requires sedation, this must be discussed with your veterinarian in advance.
3. Flea/Tick Infestation Policy
- If a pet is found to have fleas or ticks, an additional cleaning fee will be charged, or the appointment may need to be rescheduled. We strongly recommend using flea prevention treatments before grooming.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancellation or rescheduling by the client requires 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full appointment fee.
- In cases of inclement weather, family emergencies, or other uncontrollable circumstances, The World of Lola Ltd. reserves the right to waive fees at its discretion.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom as necessary, with every effort made to find a convenient alternative for both the client and groomer.
5. No-Shows & Late Arrivals
- A no-show occurs when the client is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact us to cancel or reschedule. We reserve the right to charge the full grooming fee due to lost revenue.
- Please make every effort to notify us if you need to reschedule to avoid such charges.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule or shorten the groom, and a late fee may apply.
6. Liability & Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
- While we take every precaution to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort, The World of Lola Ltd. is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or conditions arising due to pre-existing health issues, owner-provided products, or unexpected pet behaviour.
- Your personal details are securely stored and used only for appointment management and communication. We do not share your data with third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Customer Satisfaction
- If you are not satisfied with your pet’s groom, please let us know before leaving or within 24 hours, and we will do our best to make it right.
