At-Home Grooming Routine

  • Brushing: Daily with a pin brush and slicker brush to prevent matting and remove loose undercoat.
  • Bathing: Every 4–6 weeks with a volumizing, gentle dog shampoo. Always dry thoroughly to avoid mildew in the coat.
  • Ear Care: Check and clean weekly.
  • Eye Area & Face: Use a damp cloth or dog-safe wipe to gently clean around the eyes.
  • Trimming: Use rounded scissors to trim around feet and sanitary areas if needed.

When to call Lola’s Pet Salon

  • For a full bath, blow-dry, and trim every 6–8 weeks.
  • If you spot tangles forming behind ears or underarms.
  • To give your Pom a neat teddy bear trim without compromising their glorious coat.
